Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing team in Gulfport, MS! This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder with experience working in a marine, industrial, fabrication, or heavy manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of safety and quality, and can work effectively as part of a team. What You'll Do Perform welding and fabrication work on metal components and structures Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications Set up and operate welding equipment and tools Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding as required Weld various types and thicknesses of metal Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy Grind, cut, fit, and prepare metal prior to welding Assist with fabrication, assembly, and repair projects Measure and align materials to ensure proper fit and specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Work safely around heavy equipment, tools, and materials Perform other welding and fabrication duties as assigned What We're Looking For Previous professional welding experience preferred Experience in marine, shipyard, industrial, structural, or heavy fabrication is a plus Ability to perform quality welds with attention to detail Familiarity with welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication tools Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Safety-focused mindset Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
