Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients in need of orthopedic physical therapy, focusing on their specific conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal patient outcomes over the course of therapy.
• Documentation of treatment sessions, including patient responses, treatments administered, and progression towards defined goals, in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Provide thorough education and training for patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices as needed.
• Maintain collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share knowledge of patient progress.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal issues. Your therapeutic strategies will enhance their recovery process, allowing them to regain strength, flexibility, and overall functionality in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective patient interaction.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health record management.
• A flexible, adaptable approach to client care and a willingness to collaborate within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is advantageous but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with specific assessment tools and therapeutic modalities in orthopedic rehabilitation is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
