Experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity

Position Overview

Hands On Wellness Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Helmetta, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position will be held onsite, within the comforting environment of our home care facility in Helmetta. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment areas designed for optimal patient care. Working days are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a stable schedule with weekends free.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop customized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation from orthopedic issues.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapies and structured exercise programs, to address and alleviate pain while promoting mobility.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the therapy processes, preparing them for active participation in their recovery.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, which includes Medical Doctors (MDs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Chiropractors (DCs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Physician Assistants (PAs) to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Utilize CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to comprehensively document treatment plans and track patient progress.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care, treating an average of three patients per hour with personalized attention and respect.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic will include adults between the ages of 40 to 65 who are experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions. You will be instrumental in helping these patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic techniques and education.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant experience in physical therapy, especially in an outpatient setting, is desirable.
• A background in orthopedic therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exhibiting a strong passion for delivering high-quality, results-driven patient care is crucial to align with our organizational values.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 – 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to the salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
