Work Environment

Working onsite at our Freehold rehabilitation facility, you will be part of a bright, collaborative, and well-resourced environment. Our outpatient clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while contributing to a meaningful cause. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and develop customized treatment plans based on their specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a reasonable patient load, ensuring dedicated time for each patient to maximize their recovery and treatment experience.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and cost-effective treatments while placing strong emphasis on non-surgical alternatives to reduce dependency on medications.
• Develop and implement comprehensive and progressive care plans that integrate various treatment modalities tailored to individual progress.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance to encourage adherence to treatment protocols.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary based on observed patient progress and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to ensure proper patient records.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, including athletes and individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. You will provide specialized care that promotes optimal function and rapid recovery, improving patients' mobility while enhancing their overall well-being. Our diverse clientele may present with various conditions that require a collaborative and tailored approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board actions.
• Mastery of multiple manual therapy techniques, demonstrating proficiency in hands-on care.
• Strong background in designing and implementing successful exercise programs to support patient rehabilitation.
• Ability to utilize EMR systems effectively for documentation and progress tracking.
• Commitment to staying updated with the latest evidence-based physical therapy techniques to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience using evidence-based practice to inform treatment decisions.
• Prior work utilizing Web PT or similar EMR systems is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
