Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity serves K-12 students district-wide, providing varied experiences and the chance to collaborate with a diverse staff. Enjoy consistent, full-time hours—Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 3:15PM—while helping students achieve their physical and educational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of New Jersey
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric environment strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload across multiple school sites
• Must be able to complete or obtain New Jersey requirements, including TB test, a physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the staffing agency and the school district
• Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students according to their IEPs across various school locations
• Assess students’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans to help each child reach their potential
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care and support
• Monitor, record, and report students’ progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input to strengthen student outcomes
• Travel between district schools as scheduled
