We’re seeking a skilled Physical Therapist who excels in school-based settings and is passionate about helping students achieve their functional goals. Your role will provide vital support to students with diverse needs during the ESY program, ensuring progress and continuity of care.

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license for New Jersey
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based therapy strongly preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Ability to adapt and encourage student participation during therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group physical therapy services to meet IEP objectives
• Conduct thorough assessments and ongoing progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team meetings as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student inclusion and functional success in classroom settings
• Communicate regularly with caregivers about student progress and home strategies

This assignment runs June 29 through July 30, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., supporting a healthy work-life balance and leaving afternoons free for personal pursuits. Compensation for this contract ranges between $105 and $112 per hour, commensurate with experience and expertise.
