Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in an educational environment by providing physical therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This opportunity offers a contract position working with students from late June to late July, fostering growth and mobility for children who need your expertise.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active or eligible Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based PT setting and/or with children and adolescents
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Effective communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a variety of student needs and abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to students according to prescribed IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and provide written reports on students’ progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal student support
• Educate family members and school staff about therapy strategies and progress
• Maintain documentation and compliance with district and federal guidelines

Schedule:

• Extended School Year, June 29th to July 30th
• Monday through Thursday, 8:30am – 12:30pm

This contract role offers competitive pay between $105 and $112 per hour, recognizing your commitment and clinical skills.
