This full-time, district-wide contract role spans the 2026-2027 academic year and offers you a chance to make a powerful impact in the lives of children and adolescents. With a 35-hour workweek from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, you’ll enjoy consistent daytime hours and the satisfaction that comes from helping students reach their fullest potential.

Your schedule will run from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, working collaboratively across various schools within the district. As a valued professional, you'll assess, plan, and implement physical therapy services to support and empower K-12 students in their educational and functional growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hold an active and valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey
• Able to fulfill all New Jersey employment requirements: recent TB test, completed physical, and fingerprinting for both the staffing agency and school district
• Experience working within a school-based (K-12) environment preferred
• Comfortable adapting to the needs of multiple schools and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Capable of joining a virtual interview via Zoom as part of the hiring process

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students according to IEP guidelines
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and specialists to develop individualized treatment plans
• Travel between multiple school campuses within the district
• Maintain comprehensive documentation on student progress and compliance with state and district record-keeping
• Participate in team meetings, intervention planning, and professional development
