Quality Engineer (QE) – Capital TransformationEngagement Type: Contract (Long-term)Work Model: Remote (Preference for local / regional candidates)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to support a large-scale Capital Transformation initiative within a product-based delivery model. This role is embedded directly within a product team and requires close collaboration with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders.The ideal candidate is a hands-on Quality Engineer with strong financial domain expertise, an automation-first mindset, and the ability to ensure quality across UI, backend, data, and vendor-integrated systemsKey ResponsibilitiesAct as the Quality Engineering representative within an assigned product teamProduct team ceremoniesSprint planning and executionGo-Live and release activitiesOwn and execute end-to-end QA processesPerform testing across:Internal enterprise platformsExternal and vendor-integrated systemsSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate closely with business usersContribute to continuous improvement of QE practices within the teamMandatory Skills & ExperienceCandidates must meet all of the following requirements:Financial Domain Expertise (Non-Negotiable)Hands-on experience in Loan Origination or Loan ServicingPrior exposure to financial or capital transformation initiativesAbility to quickly ramp up in complex, domain-heavy environmentsQuality Engineering & AutomationStrong Quality Engineering background (not purely functional/manual QA)Experience across both functional and automation testingMandatory automation experience with one or more of the following:SeleniumPlaywright?? Candidates with only manual/functional QA experience will not be consideredTechnical SkillsBackend testing experienceMS SQLFull-stack testing mindset covering:UIAPIsNice to HaveExperience with SnowflakeExposure to modern data platforms or analytics-heavy systemsThe team actively encourages AI-assisted engineering practices.
