As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support day-to-day security-related operations by reporting maintenance issues, observed policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, while following Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
