Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual psychotherapy services tailored to the needs of stable, low-acuity adult hospice clients exploring their emotional and psychological concerns.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their physical, mental, and emotional states, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique circumstances.

• Utilize solution-based therapy to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing individual client goals and needs.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on working with adult hospice patients who are confronting end-of-life issues. These clients often experience a range of emotional responses, including anxiety, depression, and grief. Your ability to establish trust and rapport will be essential in helping them find peace and understanding during this pivotal stage of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure by the state board is required; acceptable licenses include LMFT, LPC, LCSW, and PsyD. Note that provisional or limited licenses are not considered.

• A demonstrated proficiency in clinical and diagnostic skills relevant to the hospice care population.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience managing a caseload in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on palliative or hospice care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
