Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school personnel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach when working with students
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in education a plus
• Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to varying classroom needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school policies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction under the guidance of certified teachers
• Assist students individually and in small groups with assignments and activities
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students as needed
• Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supervise student activities in various settings, such as classrooms, cafeterias, and playgrounds
• Provide support for students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials
