Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a regular work schedule. You will typically work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patient needs and customize treatment plans that address their specific mental health challenges.

• Engage regularly with patients in one-on-one sessions to listen actively to their concerns, facilitate discussions, and build rapport.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to diagnose mental health disorders, considering the complexities arising from trauma.

• Create and implement personalized coping strategies and treatment interventions tailored to each patient’s unique situation.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families about stress and trauma management techniques.

• Monitor progression through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and development.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, social services, and community programs to ensure comprehensive care and resources are available to patients.

• Maintain current knowledge by completing continuing education requirements to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with trauma injury patients who may be grappling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues stemming from their injuries. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n
