Work Environment\n

This is a fully remote position, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to a thriving community health clinic. Our team is committed to collaboration and communication, connecting regularly through virtual meetings and group supervision sessions. We support a balanced work-life schedule with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate client needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans are thoughtfully created.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups tailored to community concerns, enabling clients to connect and cultivate a sense of belonging.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Respond to mental health emergencies with crisis intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in distress.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them, empowering them to take active roles in their treatment journey.

• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and attendance at relevant training sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid licensure in one of the following: LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT, in the state of New York.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to implement evidence-based treatment methodologies.
