Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195
• Duration: 20 weeks (13 weeks also considered)
• Start Date: 08/28/2026
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Pattern: Day and night rotation, with flexibility based on operational needs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Schedule Notes: Must work at least every other holiday
• Float Expectations: May float to similar patient care areas as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Tele specialty
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience; travel RN experience will be accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• References required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital or acute care environment
• Strong communication, adaptability, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in a float pool setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit-specific standards and protocols
• Adapt quickly to different units while delivering excellent bedside care
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and efficient workflow throughout the shift
• Float to comparable units as assigned to meet patient care needs
