Legal Assistant (Phoenix AZ)

Position Description Utilizing a variety of computer‑based systems, search for required legal documents. Review and interpret language in legal documents to assure it meets statutory requirements. Accurately update fields in the database based on information found in legal documents. Enter names into the Child Abuse Central Registry following confirmation of due process. Close attention to detail to assure the documents that have been found are for the right people and right incident. Create, update and maintain large master spreadsheets using Excel. Be able to track multiple tasks and outstanding items for follow up until reached. Other admin duties. The first 90 days will be on site; once the 60‑day benchmark hits, there will be a discussion of going hybrid.
