Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of ultrasound exams, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic results
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
