Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Anchorage Counseling Center, you will be instrumental in facilitating patient growth and healing. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions, including providing couple’s therapy and family counseling.

• Assessing clients' needs, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Engaging clients in workshops and therapeutic interventions designed to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen family relationships.
\n
• Documenting all sessions thoroughly in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to deliver holistic care to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including:

• Couples experiencing relationship difficulties, including communication issues and conflicts.
\n
• Families navigating complex dynamics, such as separation, divorce, and blended family situations.
\n
• Individuals addressing personal struggles related to grief, job stress, medical challenges, and emotional health.
\n
• Clients overcoming substance abuse and psychological trauma.
\n

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to establish a trusting therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and a nonjudgmental approach.

• Proficiency in organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and meet administrative responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
