Registered Nurse- PACU/Recovery Room Weekender

Primary Patient Population Pediatric through Adult Immediate post-operative period Primary Skills Utilized/learned Maintain patient airway Assess hemodynamic stability and support Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures Assess Wound/incision integrity Overall patient assessment Personnel RN Will Work With OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy Number Of OR Suites/Cases 26 beds (Bay platform) 40-50 surgical cases daily MetroHealth offers industry‑leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire Preferred Qualifications BSN Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association #J-18808-Ljbffr The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, OH)
