The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to embracing quality and innovation in career and technical education, workforce development, and lifelong learning.The courses are held on site at Community Partner locations located in the western metro areas.Examples of Duties:Teach lecture and lab courses in Nursing, Clinical ADContinuous curriculum development, including the design, revisions, and implementation of instructional materials and assessment of learner outcomesIntegration of assessment activities into teaching practices and participation in department and college-wide assessment of student learningSupport of the success and development of students through the use of a variety of instructional methods, available office hours, and by providing additional resourcesDevelopment and implementation of on-campus, online and hybrid coursesContribution into department decisions on budget, scheduling, textbook selection etc.Participation in discipline, team, campus, and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional developmentSupport and advance the department and college mission through ideas and projectsMinimum QualificationsEducation RequirementBachelor degree in nursingOccupational Experience RequirementFour full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse.Recency RequirementOne year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
