We are looking to revamp and elevate our existing menu , transitioning toward a more refined, modern, and culinary-driven dining experience. The ideal candidate is a strong, confident kitchen leader with a creative vision and the ability to develop unique, elegant dishes while maintaining consistency and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative development and complete evolution of our menu
- Create innovative, elevated, and visually appealing dishes
- Bring strong culinary technique, creativity, and attention to detail
- Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
- Establish kitchen standards, recipes, plating, and portion consistency
- Manage food inventory, ordering, waste, and food costs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and highly efficient kitchen
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality
- Take full ownership and leadership of the kitchen
- Work closely with ownership to develop and execute the future culinary vision of Pico Cafe
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional culinary training or strong equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or strong Sous Chef ready to lead
- Creative and passionate about developing new dishes and concepts
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Experience with inventory, ordering, food cost, and waste control
- Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Able to lead with confidence and hold the kitchen team to high standards
