Chief People Officer and EVP, People & Talent

DC Water is seeking its next Chief People Officer & Executive Vice President, People & Talent.
Reporting directly to the CEO/General Manager, this executive will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing strategic direction across human capital management, workforce planning, talent development, labor relations, and organizational effectiveness.
DC Water seeks an accomplished, forward-thinking human resources executive with a demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide human capital strategies, strengthen organizational culture, build effective labor-management relationships, and develop a high-performing workforce.
Successful candidates will bring:
- At least 15 years of enterprise-level human resources experience, including five years of executive HR experience and five years in a senior leadership role.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in strategic workforce planning, talent management, labor relations, and organizational effectiveness.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
