Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' mobility, physical strength, and functional abilities, devising tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement and modify treatment programs for various conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and sports-related injuries, ensuring adherence to the latest clinical guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately in our electronic health record system, ensuring seamless communication with other team members and referring physicians.
• Provide patient and caregiver education, helping them understand their conditions and the necessary steps for recovery through effective consultations and training sessions.
• Apply manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities in accordance with established protocols and physician directives to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Maintain a professional and compassionate environment, demonstrating exceptional customer service and fostering a therapeutic alliance with patients.
• Collaborate with a broader healthcare team, engaging in regular case discussions, team meetings, and continuous education initiatives to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse population, including patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and various movement disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Florida, administered by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with exposure to diverse clinical specialties.
• Current CPR certification and strong proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Compensation and Benefits
