This large inpatient hospital in Hampton, Virginia maintains organized perioperative workflows designed to support quality patient care delivery across a broad range of surgical specialties. The facility operates under a physician supervision model and seeks locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department. The clinical environment is structured to support coordinated anesthesia care across inpatient services.

Hampton, Virginia offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. The area is known for its coastal heritage, with waterfront events, local farmers markets, outdoor trails, and family-friendly festivals available throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment may also explore Fort Monroe National Monument and the Virginia Air and Space Science Center, among other regional destinations.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at a large inpatient facility in Hampton, Virginia, with shift options of 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The surgical case mix includes general, OB, vascular, orthopedic, and pediatric procedures. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, with beeper call from the hospital on a weeknight and weekend 1:4 rotation; a post-call day off is provided. Board certification in Anesthesiology is required for all clinicians in this role.
