Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting elementary students in Ventura, CA. This is a great opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working with young learners and are passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills in a supportive educational environment.

These positions are covering a leave of absence with an immediate need to start, and there is a strong likelihood the assignment will continue through the remainder of the school year. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

• Current health certificate, if required.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Adherence to all relevant professional standards of practice.

Compensation

Local Candidates

?? Up to $90/hour

Travel Candidates

?? Up to $52/hour
