Commercial ElectricianWe are seeking dedicated journeyman and apprentice level electricians to join our team for medium to large commercial construction projects. These projects will involve both new construction and reconstruction efforts. The role requires individuals who can efficiently run wire, bend conduit, and troubleshoot as needed across various commercial projects. If you are interested in this position, then please apply today and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out within 24-48 hours.ResponsibilitiesRun wire and bend conduit for commercial construction projects.Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise on various projects.Guide and mentor electrician helpers, delegating tasks where needed.Interact and collaborate with general contractors and other subcontractors on site.Read and follow blueprints to execute electrical work accurately.Essential SkillsExperience with commercial electrician work.Ability to run wire, bend conduit, and read/follow blueprints.Capability to work independently on all aspects of electrical work.Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions.Prior experience in electrical construction is highly preferred.Work EnvironmentAll work will be conducted on commercial job sites, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential areas around Chicagoland.
