Inspire young learners and support student success as a Special Education Teacher working with an elementary ABS caseload on a part-time contract basis. This rewarding opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic school environment located near Maple Grove, MN. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027 and requires approximately 18 hours per week (0.5 FTE), Monday through Friday.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Proven experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings, particularly with ABS (Academic and Behavioral Support) caseloads
• Strong ability to collaborate with general educators, families, and support teams
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Key responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary-level students with ABS needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and goals
• Track student progress and adjust strategies as needed, maintaining clear and timely documentation
• Collaborate effectively with school staff and families to ensure consistency and support across settings
• Use data-driven methods and positive behavior interventions to maximize student growth
• Maintain a nurturing, structured classroom environment where every student can thrive
