A contract opportunity awaits a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a vibrant school community near Maple Grove, MN. This full-time assignment runs from August 25, 2026, to June 10, 2027. The role centers on an ABS (Academic Behavior Strategist) caseload at the elementary level, providing vital services Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours each week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota (MN) Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only).
• Experience or training working with an ABS caseload, especially within elementary education settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional commitment to fostering inclusion, equity, and academic achievement for all learners.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral supports to students with diverse needs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to ensure student growth.
• Maintain accurate documentation and track progress on IEP goals.
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development.
