Step into a rewarding role supporting students through a contract position as a Physical Therapist, covering a leave from October 16, 2026, to February 5, 2027. This opportunity focuses on working with elementary and middle school students, empowering them to achieve their physical and educational goals in a collaborative environment near Wappingers Falls, NY.

Desired Experience & Requirements:

• Current PT license or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with IEP-mandated services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and reevaluations for students
• Proficiency in participating in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy sessions for students as defined by their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Complete comprehensive assessments for new and returning students
• Attend and contribute to CSE meetings to support educational planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and outcomes
• Collaborate closely with educational teams and families to optimize student achievement
