Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families dealing with various issues.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with both partners in a couple and with individuals separately, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each family member's needs.
\n
• Addressing specific family-related issues such as alcohol abuse, communication difficulties, physical or psychological abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and the dynamics of blended families.
\n
• Working collaboratively with clients to build coping strategies and overcome conflicts, while tracking progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
\n
• Utilizing telemedicine tools effectively to engage clients in their treatment process, ensuring their comfort and accessibility throughout.
\n
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards in therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve a diverse range of clients, including adults and children/adolescents, focusing on those experiencing challenges in their family lives and interpersonal relationships. By working closely with clients from different backgrounds, you will play a vital role in addressing complex issues such as separation and divorce, mother/daughter conflicts, and adjustment disorders, while championing a holistic approach to mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a similar role.
