NextGen Hospitality Solutions is excited to announce an opening for a Kitchen Manager at our high-volume, growing BBQ concept in Buford. This full-time, on-site position offers a great opportunity to lead culinary operations in a vibrant restaurant environment focused on delivering excellent food and service.
As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards are met while managing a dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in menu planning, inventory control, and staff training, all while fostering a positive kitchen culture that promotes teamwork and efficiency. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, along with a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure high food quality and safety standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Plan and design menus, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Oversee inventory management and control food costs effectively.
- Implement and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with management to achieve overall restaurant goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and team spirit.
Requirements
- 5+ years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
- Proven experience in menu development and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for BBQ and a commitment to quality and excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
