Sr. Specialist, Legal Affairs

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sr. Specialist, Legal Affairs to support our business. This role provides essential legal, administrative, and organizational support within the Legal Department and plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations across contracts, agreements, and corporate record‑keeping. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, resourceful, comfortable wearing many hats, and enjoys supporting a cross‑functional team. Responsibilities Draft, review, edit, and organize a variety of agreements, including vendor contracts, independent contractor agreements, NDAs, and customer contracts. Partner with and advise internal stakeholders in clarifying terms and ensuring that agreements align with company needs and risk mitigation requirements. Manage the contract lifecycle by tracking contract deadlines, renewals, milestones, and requirements using an organized system and reminders. Develop, implement, and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and internal processes. Communicate with outside counsel and conduct case research. Organize and maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring documents are logically structured, easy to retrieve, and kept confidential. Support special projects, internal audits, and process‑improvement initiatives as assigned. Conduct legal and factual research involving contract standards, terms, conditions, and insurance requirements. Qualifications 4–7 years’ experience in contract preparation & review, preferably in the telecommunications industry. American Bar Association approved paralegal certificate or paralegal studies credential. Thorough understanding of contract documents, contract concepts, and agreement lifecycle management. Strong drafting, editing, and proofreading skills with a high level of attention to detail. Self‑motivated, self‑directed. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional environment. Experience using contract management software or legal matter management systems.
