Associate, Infrastructure Opportunities

Overview Ares Infrastructure Opportunities ("AIO") is hiring an Associate to join its Investment Team in New York, NY. The role focuses on originating, structuring and executing investments in infrastructure sectors such as renewable energy, energy storage, natural gas midstream, transportation, and digital infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead preparation and maintenance of financial models. Assist with due diligence process. Assist with deal structuring and execution. Assist with preparation of investment committee materials. Prepare industry and thematic research. Monitor and report on operational and financial performance of projects and investments, including variance analysis. Interface with portfolio companies, third‑party diligence providers, and other external partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, and relevant work experience. 1–3 years of experience in private equity, project finance, investment banking, development, or the power/energy/infrastructure sectors preferred. Strong financial and analytical abilities, including advanced Excel modeling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Industry knowledge strongly preferred. Reporting Relationships Reports to the Managing Director, Infrastructure Opportunities. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $155,000.00 – $165,000.00.
