Description – Core Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses—covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology—adhering to established protocols.
• Assess results for accuracy, diagnose potential errors, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection processes and prepare samples for subsequent testing as required.
• Maintain detailed documentation of laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and contribute to upholding lab quality standards.
• Foster a clean, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or comparable allied health field plus eligibility for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ensure ongoing certification as part of employment."
