Position Overview

We're on the lookout for an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an essential part of our expanding imaging team. You will utilize state-of-the-art ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, as you collaborate with a network of dedicated clinicians, all while providing patients with the reassurance they deserve through precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures and communicate each stage clearly and compassionately
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of exceptional diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, swiftly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desirable

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Exceptional technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
