Job Description Responsible for processes associated with bids, proposals, and other relevant commercial activities for Seadrill's Commercial function to support its offshore drilling projects for clients in the international energy industry. Responsibilities Manage development of commercial opportunities and ensure assumptions are robust and accurate before recommending to Senior Management. Work with tenders from receipt to submission, manage all activities and interact with stakeholders to ensure concise, accurate, and efficient tender delivery. Develop comprehensive proposals, bids, and tender responses, and facilitate end‑to‑end bid process for quality and compliance. Coordinate and collaborate with operations, engineering, legal, tax, finance, supply chain, HR, and marketing to review contractual documents, identify, assess, mitigate risks, and tailor proposals for a winning offer. Obtain inputs from engineering, operations, tax, finance, HR, supply chain, and commercial to ascertain operational costs and capital upgrades needed for economic profile of a deal (BAS) and recommend solutions to optimize returns. Participate in contract negotiations with customers to reconcile technical and commercial positions and reach mutually agreeable terms. Oversee quality control processes to reinforce professionalism and ensure accuracy and completeness of tender deliverables. Support improvements in tendering process and lead implementation of new processes to influence stakeholders and align on changes. Facilitate preparation of Contract Approval Form for endorsements and Senior Management consent for contract signature. Coordinate preparation of Board Memo for approval and participate in board meetings to rationalize risks and returns of a deal and obtain necessary endorsements. Support business development and opportunities as required by Business Development team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing. Three years of drilling industry experience with commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of offshore drilling, and three years coordinating marketing aspects of multiple drilling projects simultaneously while working with multiple stakeholders at different levels.
