Business Office Manager - Skilled Nursing Facility Location Van Nuys, CA Department Administration FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shifts Hiring Full-time Pay Grade $40 - $45 / hour We are a skilled nursing facility seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage collections, business office administration, and has experience in long-term care. Business Office Manager Requirements: Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, HMOs, including appeals Knowledge of verifying payor sources and deposits, MediCal TARS Experience in collecting from managed Medi-Cal care organizations Proficient in securing authorizations Knowledge of state and federal nursing home guidelines, including trust fund management Experience with Point Click Care software is preferred Primary Business Office Manager Responsibilities: Billing and collections for Managed Care and Managed Medi-cal, Insurance, co-insurance, hospice and private payers. Assisting our residents to apply for benefits available to them Ability to coordinate the various support services and personnel needed to ensure smooth office operations. Processing Ancillary Accounts payable Other duties may be assigned *This position offers a quarterly collection bonusbased on performance PAY SCALE: $40 - $45 / hour Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise. This position is eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program, offering additional earning potential beyond base compensation. Bonus opportunities are determined by individual and organizational performance metrics and subject to quarterly-yearly review.
