Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Moderate Care Unit (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a mix of low-acuity critical care patients and observation patients within a 12-bed, 24-hour moderate care unit serving the heart and vascular service line
• Monitor and manage patients with arterial lines, PA catheters, LVADs, and up to 2–4 vasoactive drips
• Care for pre-surgical and post-procedure patients who require extended monitoring prior to discharge
• Perform and interpret cardiac rhythm identification in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across cardiac and vascular ICU and stepdown units to facilitate appropriate patient placement and transitions of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of IMC, PCU, stepdown, or telemetry experience within the past 3 years
• Experience with PA catheters required
• Must pass a proctored, free-response cardiac rhythm identification test upon start (two attempts permitted)
• Must wear Navy Blue scrubs
• Non-local travelers only — candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with low-acuity critical care patients and cardiovascular procedures
• Familiarity with LVAD management and vasoactive drip titration
