Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, with consideration for their unique needs and backgrounds to develop tailored therapy plans.

• Implement graduate-level clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring best practices in treatment to enhance patient outcomes.

• Facilitate effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, including regular documentation, meetings, and case reviews, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide ongoing case management for assigned patients, collaborating with community resources and health professionals to support comprehensive care.

• Meet ethical standards and maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with departmental policies.
\n
• Assist patients in achieving their goals through the execution of individualized service plans, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse demographic, providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Our telehealth model enables you to reach clients who may not otherwise have access to necessary mental health resources, thus playing a crucial role in increasing availability of care in the Bronx area.

Qualifications\n

• Valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees preferred.

• Willingness and ability to work up to 40 hours per week, focusing on maximizing client engagement and care responsiveness.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in diverse therapeutic modalities beyond CBT, including play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed approaches.

• Familiarity with telehealth technology and digital documentation systems to facilitate a seamless service delivery experience.

• Prior experience with case management and interdisciplinary collaboration in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
