Aerospace Assembly Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Aerospace Assembly Technician to join our team in assembling and building aerospace parts. This role involves connecting cables and conducting subsequent testing in a small, clean environment. You will be part of a close-knit team of approximately 10 assemblers, working with glass parts that are sourced from a furnace.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace parts with precision and accuracy.
• Inspect assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Utilize schematics and blueprints to guide assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection, mechanical, and electrical tasks.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with hand tools and aerospace components.
• Skills in connectors and component assembly.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, and soldering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Organizational skills to support product assembly and manufacturing.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic understanding of drawings, work instructions, and computer data entry.

Why Work Here?

This is a 5-month contract-to-hire position in a company that is expanding due to recent Department of Defense contracts. There is significant potential for promotions and growth opportunities.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, averaging 40 hours per week. The environment is very clean, temperature-controlled, and conducive to focused work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
