We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our small accounting team in a fast pace HVAC contractors office. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll, and managing HVAC related data entry. Reporting to the Controller, the ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills while thriving in a detail-oriented environment. This is full time in person office position only (no hybrid no remoting)

** Responsibilities **

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• AIA billing (knowledge of Textura a plus)
• Enter data accurately and process invoices efficiently
• Support payroll operations as needed
• Maintain detailed and organized financial records
• Knowledge of job costing a plus
• HVAC service background or project management background a plus
• Additional office admin tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping in contractor office
• Experience with a construction software (we do not use QB)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Notary a plus
