Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

Hours/Week: 40

Licenses/Certifications: NY License, BLS, AHA or RQI Certification, Epic Experience, Board Certified

Experience: Active APP experience in pre-operative or anesthesia setting; no Residents or Fellows

What You'll Do

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and patient assessments
• Review medical history, H&P, and relevant data
• Utilize existing optimization protocols for surgical candidates
• Make appropriate referrals and coordinate with surgical teams
• Document findings and manage patient data accurately
• Support orthopedic, general, and urological surgical specialties in outpatient settings
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and preparedness

What You Need

Required:

• Active NY License
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• Epic electronic medical record experience
• Certified as a Physician Assistant (Board Certified)
• APP experience in pre-anesthesia or outpatient assessment

Preferred:

• Experience working in ambulatory or outpatient settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
