Technical Manager

About the Role Game Room Technician (Technical Manager) at CEC Entertainment. Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and technological components that make up the Chuck E. Cheese game rooms. What You’ll Do Oversee and maintain video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, and ticket mechanisms. Manage arcade games, register and IT systems, and ticket dispensers. Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective electronic components, boards, and computers. Operate and maintain stage‑show equipment, including compressors, lighting, sound, pneumatics, and stage show cosmetics. Maintain inventory of electronic equipment, mechanical parts, and tools. Manage a budget for equipment repairs and replacements. Maintain a safety‑focused attitude at all times. Skills & Qualifications Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to the component board level. Strong planning, organization, and multi‑tasking skills. Attention to detail and time‑management with a sense of urgency. Military experience or a technical degree, or previous electrical or mechanical training is preferred. Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Ability to work up to 45 hours per week. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Functions & Work Environment Lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds during a scheduled shift. Stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat as required. Handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members. Work in an environment with flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise.
