Note: This role will be required to also be trained as a charge nurse.Responsibilities:Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:Protecting, promoting, and optimizing healthPreventing illness and injuryAlleviating suffering through the treatment of the human responsePartnering with the patient, their family and significant othersDocumenting interventions and an individualized plan of careMinimum Qualifications:1 year of current professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient hospital setting orCompletion of a Women & Children capstone/preceptorship (Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, GYN, NICU, and PEDS)Graduation from an accredited school of nursingPossession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of MinnesotaPreferred Qualifications:Certification in area of clinical specialtyBSN Preferred.
