HR Generalist

Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Paterson, NJ

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $30-$35/hr

Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Hours: Mon-Fri; 8am-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage HR functions on site, including employee relations and benefits administration

• Assist in processing payroll and workers compensation documentation

• Collaborate with the HR team to support employee engagement and compliance initiatives

• Handle front-line HR interactions with employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation for HR processes

Requirements

• 2-3 years of HR experience, with some exposure to benefits and workers compensation

• Experience working directly with employees

• Proficient in payroll processing

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is Required

• HSD required
