CT/XR Technologist

This role is a 13-week local travel contract for a CT/XR Technologist in Gallup, New Mexico. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations, ensuring patient safety and image quality while supporting a multidisciplinary team. The position offers competitive weekly compensation based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations according to established protocols.

Operate X-ray and CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.

Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide appropriate positioning and support.

Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards.

Verify patient information, examination orders, and imaging protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.

Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.

Maintain equipment and report equipment concerns or malfunctions as appropriate.

Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.
