RubinBrown is seeking an experienced Assurance Services Partner to join our nationally recognized Real Estate Services Group. In this leadership role, you'll serve a diverse portfolio of real estate clients while helping grow our Assurance Services practice. This is an opportunity to build trusted client relationships, lead high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional assurance services within a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm recognized for its expertise in affordable housing and other specialized real estate sectors. Major Responsibilities Lead complex assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients, ensuring exceptional client service, audit quality, and compliance with professional standards. Drive business development by building and expanding client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and cross-selling Assurance and Advisory services. Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory matters affecting the real estate industry. Mentor, coach, and develop professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Work across service lines to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' evolving business needs. Help shape the strategic direction, growth, and market leadership of RubinBrown's Real Estate Assurance Services group. Represent RubinBrown through industry involvement, thought leadership, and professional networking to strengthen the firm's brand and expand its presence in the real estate market. Preferred Experience / Background / Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Active CPA license required. Extensive public accounting experience with progressive leadership in Assurance Services. Demonstrated success leading complex assurance engagements and serving clients in the real estate industry. Experience serving clients in affordable housing, LIHTC, historic tax credits, renewable energy, Opportunity Zones, or other specialized real estate sectors. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements. Proven track record of business development, executive-level client relationship management, and practice growth. Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams. Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills. Working Conditions Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in-office. Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations. Travel is dependent upon office location, business need, and client expectations. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout office. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds.
