Key Responsibilities\nAs an LCSW at Connected Hearts Therapy, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on a solution-based approach. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet clients' unique mental health needs. \n
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records to comply with state and federal regulations. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and recovery specialists, to coordinate holistic care for our patients. \n
- Facilitate case consultations and engage in peer review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care. \n
- Educate and empower clients and their families by providing resources and tools for mental health awareness and self-management. \n
- Stay abreast of current research and developments in psychotherapy to enhance client outcomes effectively. \n
At Connected Hearts Therapy, you will primarily work with individuals in detox treatment settings, who may be experiencing substance use disorders combined with co-occurring mental health issues. This role allows you to not only assist clients in overcoming addiction but also to process underlying psychological challenges, leading to holistic recovery.
Qualifications\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia. \n
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience focused on psychotherapy, preferably within detox environments. \n
- Proven proficiency in solution-based therapeutic methodologies. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective patient interactions and teamwork. \n
We prefer candidates who have experience with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Familiarity with addiction treatment modalities and a background in working with diverse populations will also be beneficial.
