Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Boston, MAPay Rate: $25.00 – $27.80 per hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPosition SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing facility maintenance, heavy cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, and equipment support to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment. This role supports daily operations through preventive maintenance, sanitation, building upkeep, and coordination of cleaning and pest control activitiesKey ResponsibilitiesPerform heavy cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the facility and groundsMaintain safe and clean work areas including walkways, warehouse areas, offices, stairwells, and common spacesAssist with preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, filter changes, motor replacement, and basic equipment repairsPerform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and ice treatment as neededSupport facility upkeep projects including painting and general building repairsAssist with coordinating cleaning and pest control servicesProvide support and operational coverage for facilities functions as neededFollow all safety procedures and work efficiently with minimal supervisionAssist warehouse or office teams with operational support when requiredCommunicate maintenance concerns and improvement ideas in a timely mannerPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of maintenance, cleaning, or sanitation experience in a facility, warehouse, or industrial environmentExperience with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) preferredFood industry experience is a plusMechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills preferredExperience using hand tools and power equipment safelyAbility to work independently and manage multiple responsibilitiesStrong communication and time management skillsBasic computer skills including email communication requiredAbility to provide professional and dependable serviceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including bending, climbing, and prolonged standing#3368ST
