In this role, the Maintenance Technician must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in automation equipment and processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairsSchedule and conduct preventive maintenancePerform electrical, pneumatic and mechanical repairs on automation equipmentGenerate and complete work orders as assignedOverhaul and install new equipmentRebuild and fabricate partsManage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventoryPerform equipment change-overs and production line set-upsMaintain clean and safe work area at all timesProtect the integrity and quality of product at all timesAdhere to all company policies and proceduresJob RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent required Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Outlook and Excel Must be able to use a laptop or tablet to fix errors Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs Ability to work in a warehouse environment where it is required to lift and carry heavy equipment and machinery parts weighing up to 50 pounds.Eligible employees may have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, life insurance, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, scholarship opportunities, and more. *Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on position, location, employment type, and union governance.Background Verification Employment with Coke Northeast is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background verification.
